Yikes! Made changes, now can't log in on Admin page!

Hello,

Been pounding through Zen cart for the last few days, creating the site and learning as I go. I was using the tutorial on how to make your site secure, and I don't quite know what I did, but now I can't log in to the admin page. When I try, it tells me I entered the wrong username or password, which I'm sure is correct.

Any suggestions on how I can get back in? I know there is not much info here about how I caused this mess, but perhaps someone has a clue. I tried many things that I found on the forum with no success. Restore hasn't worked either.

On another note, let's say that I honked up the site so bad that it would be better and easier to start over. I don't mind entering my settings over again, but it would be great if I could take the product data out and just upload it back to the newly installed cart. Could anyone tell me where the product data files are and if it is possible to download them separately and upload them back to the new installation?

If you can, access the database via your hosts control panel and phpMyAdmin; if you can't, installing phpMyAdmin via FTP should allow you in. You can then download the data.

If you are going to start afresh, then you only need the various tables that have "product" in the name.

You could also give yourself a new username by editing the zen_admin table directly through phpMyadmin, making sure the email address is correct. Then Try to login again, but use the "Forgot password" option.

Thank you for telling me to edit zen_admin. It had lost the admin username, pass, and email.

Now I don't have to reload everything...Yay!
