Main page display other than New Products?

Thanks in advance. The main window on the main page of my first store seems to default to "New Products For May". How can I change this to another category I've set up? The client wants to feature this other category on the Main page, and use New Products as a sidebox.

Configuration > Layout Settings >
Categories - Always Show on Main Page
Main Page - Opens with Category 0 <--------0=all, #=desired cat id

Configuration > Index Listing
many options available.

Thanks, the "Opens with Category 0 <--------0=all, #=desired cat id" seems my best bet. I went to Catalog/Categories/Products, then took the number to the left of the top category in the sort order, pasted that number in the "Opens with Category" field, but nothing happens. That IS the category ID#, correct?

The Configuration/Index Listing only seems to give options for New Products, Featured Products, Special Products and Upcoming Products...

Have you set Categories - Always Show on Main Page to 1?

The New Products you are seeing is controlled by that group of settings.

Ah, thanks! I had tried the "Main Page - Opens with Category" earlier, but nothing happened, but when I "turned on" the "Categories - Always Show", it worked great.
