Import Shopping Cart from Cube Cart?

Hello,

We are switching from a CUBE Cart shopping cart system to a new ZEN Cart system.

However, we do not want to re-enter 500+ products.

Can we import a Cube Cart database and pictures into Zen Cart?

You may want to look at the following module that allows you to import products into the cart. It is called Easy Populate and can be found here:

I have looked into this.

But does it take care of importing images from the CubeCart?

It can import a single image (and maybe multiple ones as well), but you have to have the image uploaded to the server 1st (via FTP) in order for it to "connect" to the image.

The developer of Easy Populate is super about supporting it. You may want to either ask him, or download the Free version and test it to see how it works for you.

It's not the images that are imported, but the url to the image is imported. You must have the images to ftp to the site, then when you upload the products to the db, you'll see where to place the url of the image.

Good point that I should have "pointed out" more clearly. I figured that by saying "FTP", it was known that an image itself would not upload, but the url was the item (pointing to the place the image was ftp'd to).
