New Orders

Hi....

Please excuse me if this is a simple question:

when a customer places an order on the web site, it appears as a new order in the Admin Home. How do I get it out of the NEW ORDERS SECTION? I thought that after the order was shipped and marked Delivered, that it would move, but it does not, I don't want to delete the order, I would like to keep it in the system incase I or the customer might need to refer back to it.... Any ideas? what am I missing?

The Admin index.php displays that last 5 orders ...

It does not matter their status ...

If you want something else you would need to customize the code ... NOTE: there are no overrides in the Admin at this time ...

I just realized that all new orders come in as pending and all that I have to do is just filter the order list.
