Hello, I am completely new to Zen Cart. Is it possible to create free products that can be downloaded? I looked at the payment options in the admin panel but didn't see anything that allowed no payment.
Thanks,
AQ

when creating a new product there is a place to state product is free check the bok product is free
You can also use Better Together to create a product which is free if another product is purchased.
Good luck,

Thanks for the reply. I have that module activated. I've managed to set a zero price but now I can't work out how to set the stock levels. I'm getting an out of stock message on the product page but there should be no stock levels at all as the product is virtual. How can I bypass or ignore stock levels,
Thanks again,
AQ
Downloads are not virtual productsas the product is virtual
i.e.

Sorry, if I used the wrong term. What I mean is that the product is not physical so it shouldn't run out of stock. Any number of people should be able to download it any number of times by going through the checkout process - though tehcost should be zero.

You still have to enter a stock quantity i.e 1the product is not physical so it shouldn't run out of stock.
If downloads are configured correctly, this should
not reduce when a sale/download is made.
Thanks Misty, downloads seem to be working now. What I need to do now is see if I can workout how to speed up the ordering process. But I'll start a new thread for that.
Cheers,
