I already have a zencart site up and running which was designed by a third party. Im looking into a complelty seperate site which Im going to design myself.

While Im doing this is it possible to have the site nonlive/dormant whilst Im building it until the site is ready to show to the world? If so, how do I do this please?

Put it in a sub folder, then simply move when ready to launch. Or you could put up the maintenance page but people will still the site, just wont be able to buy.
