I was only pointing you to where I thought that you might have seen this feature...as you asked initially and this is where I believed you might have seen this....
The "max days" is for the customer to be able to download

Thank You kobra. I hope you didn't feel my previous response was insulting. If so I apologize because that wasn't my intent.
You are correct about the location of what I remember seeing because when I initially installed the cart, I installed it with all the demo products just to get an idea of it's functionality. I have since deleted those products which in turn could be why I can't find that feature any more.
So I went back to add a product in the featured list and noticed the start and expiry dates. I guess my next question would be if this expiration date only stops it from being a featured product (which is what I assume).?
If this is the case...do you know of a way to make products unavailable after a certain time??
Thanks again in advance
I know as soon as I post this that someone will come along and point out a new switch that I was not aware of!!!If this is the case...do you know of a way to make products unavailable after a certain time??
I do not think that there is a way to "auto" make a product unavailable based upon date....
You might try placing a product into a non active category (make it then click the green box turning it off) then create a product in it and then place this product as featured or on special.
Apply dates to it and I recall that this will show it even though it is in a non displayed category When it expires it is no longer finable.
See if this might fill your need
