    Default Missing CC Numbers?

    A store my friend owns is getting orders that don't pass the credit card information. Site is www.peppertraders.com. How can we fix this?

    I'm using the Credit Card module with these settings (and there is a real email address, but I've taken it out for this post):

    CC#: 4111111111111111
    Expiration: Any

    Enable Credit Card Module
    True

    Collect & store the CVV number
    True

    Store the Credit Card Number
    True

    Split Credit Card Email Address
    EMAIL IS HERE

    Payment Zone
    --none--

    Set Order Status
    default

    Sort order of display.
    0

    You should find the first 4 digits and last 4 digits on the order and the middle digits are then emailed to you ...

    You do not want the full card number in one place ...

    Does the order display the ####XXXXXXXX#### and does the email display the middle digits: ########

    Hello Linda.

    That's what I usually see. But recently some orders have been coming through without the partia cc# in the order, like this:

    Date Purchased: Tuesday 15 May, 2007
    Payment Method: Credit Card
    Products... etc.
    And normally the orders look like this:
    Purchased: Monday 07 May, 2007
    Payment Method: Credit Card
    Credit Card Type: Visa
    Credit Card Owner: NAME
    Credit Card Number: 1234XXXXXXXX1234
    Credit Card CVV Number: Deleted
    Credit Card Expires: 0101
    Products... etc.

    Check your email set on CC that it is valid and you are receiving the middle digits in the email ...

    Hello Linda,

    I've done that also. And then I entered in a second email address into the cc module settings and tried it with no luck. I manually emailed to both emails and they came through, so I think that it must be Zen Cart not sending one.

    The oddest thing is that this has not been happening on every order. Only some.

    have you tried using a free-email account for testing purposes? i generally use my personal gmail account to make sure its not an e-mail setting on the server or on the program. Try e-mailing a completely different domain thats not hosted on that server to make sure its not a mail problem

    Hello,

    I still have not found a solution to this one. I have checked all of the emails, and everything is being sent/delivered through email except the middle digits. I don't think it is being sent.

    The oddest part is that no credit card information is being stored in the order. No mention of Visa/Mastercard, no exp date, no cvv number, or anything.

    I've seen a couple of old posts that said to remove and reinstall the cc payment module, but that didn't work either. I guess we may have to do some other type of payment, like Authorize.net??
