    Default Shipping weight

I'm doing the zone rates module and it talkes about weight as equal or less than 3. I can't find what 3 is, is it 3 ounces, 3 pounds, 3 kilograms or 3 items?

Did you look at the Tare rates in the Shipping/Packaging settings?

How do I make my site Kg??? The American system is really stupid and it should not be so hard to convert to the metric system. Please help. I already changed the two settings in the English section but nothing seemed to change.

If you need to switch the text from lb and lbs to Kg ... do a search in the Developer's Tool Kit in the bottom input box for:
    lb

And it will find all references to this text ...

NOTE: this is just text ... be sure that your shipping modules work in Kg and are not expecting lbs ...

Hi, Thanks a lot for the reply. Howeve, my problem lies specifically with the shipping module (zone rates). I have my site in Kg but when shipping is estemated it says pounds. I looked through the files but there does not seem to be a reference to lb or lbs. Any thoughts??

    Peek in the Configuration ... Shipping/Packaging ...

There are settings for the Tare weight on Small and Medium packages and on the Large packages ...
