Help with shipping

Could someone please explain to me how I would setup this?:

Product category 1 - ships to uk for one price, ireland different price
Product category 2 - ships to uk+ireland for one price, rest of europe different price.


I have looked into doing it by weight and that would work unless the customer ordered 2 or more products, then I am assuming that zencart would use the total orders weight as opposed to individual items weight.

Pulling my hair out ove rthis one!

To rephrase a bit, and seems simpler in my mind,

Is it possible to take a product, assign a delivery price to it depending on location.

For instance I have two product categories.

In one category all items delivery is fixed depending on location, UK is one price and the rest of europe is another.

In another category, the same rules apply but one otion is to Great Britain and the other is to the rest of the UK.

Also how would I setup a European zone? I only seem to be able to add one country per zone.

I really dont know where to start with this one, the most i can get is 'sorry, no shipping to theis country' message on checkout, even though i have setup and individula one for united kingdom and the account address is united kingdom.

Can anyone help me in anyway with all this?

For an update, got around this problem by using the parcelforce module, and set delivery weights so that it would not ship one catergory outside of the uk.
