    Default Editing / Changing Orders

I had the wrong color for something on my web site. It was Brick, we only realized the mistake when the customer ordered it, we told her the color should be burgundy, she said OK. I went and fixed the web site and changed the color. I wanted to edit her order and change the brick to bugandy so her invoice and packing slip would be updated... but when I went to edit the order in the admin, I was not able to change it... Could anybody point me in the right direction?

    Thanks

Is it true that I can do this by logging into the MySql database with sysyog and change the data in the order table?

I was able to log into the mysql database and change the brick to burgandy.

After doing a little research, there is an add-on called super orders and edit orders.

Question: do these add-ons work? are they worth the setup... will they still work when the cart code is upgraded to 1.38 ?

    Thanks

Well, I installed edit orders, very nice, but it still does not help with product atributes, I guess I will have to keep using sysyog for the simple stuff.

Yes, Super Orders + Edit Orders does work. They are indispensible for me. I had to revert back to an older edit order because the newer Edit Orders 1.1 did not work for me. And I'm sticking with that until Blindside releases a new Super Orders that will allow more editing control.

For many things, I can use these to edit orders. On occasion, I still go edit the mysql dbase.
