template stopped working

last I had looked my site was fine. today I went there and the CSS is not working and it is using the zencart logo instead of the logo in my template's images. i am wondering if my host might have done something that screwed up some permissions or something. i tried switching to classic contempory green and it's screwed up as well. any ideas? hacking? host changes?

i have contacted their support center and await a response. hopefully it sheds some light.

well i have talked to my host and they said

"The fast server move we did to a quad (that you got moved to) was for a emergency's segment fault on the drive. It sounds like a permissions and path issue to me."

so i have no communication to my templates folders. there is communications to other overrides under that template name such as text. so what are all the requirements for that communication to exist? permissions and paths. what can i trace and check that may have gotten disturbed?

again. if any zenmasters out there can tell me what communication protocall must exist for there to have function of files in templates folders it would be very helpful. i could try to track those things down and find the error. i have compared basic file permissions to a test site i created before going live and dont see anything out of place. what else? i havent had time yet but tomorrow if i dont have anything to check i willl try re-installing and configuring the whole deal. any insights would be nice. no real insight has been gained by talking to my host other than that they moved things and it apparently resulted in this problem. what files are used to comminicate to the templates and how do they do it? i am not a php wiz but i can look if i have direction.
