Copying Option Values with Default Sort...possible?

I have successfully copied a new option value to 12 products in a drop down list. However, the sort value for the copied option value is 0 in all the products. Is there a way when copying an option value to have it use the default sort?

Trying not to have to edit each product every time I add to a drop down list.

If you setup the Default Sort Order in the Option Value Manager for these ... or better yet use the Option Value Sorter and select the Option Name you want to set them for ...

You can set all your defaults then apply them to the whole site in the Tools ... Store Manager ...

Update All Products' Attribute Sort Orders
to match Option Value Default Sort Orders:
