Can I lead customers to other products with option box?

hi everyone...

just started to build a website to my uncle... he has a lot of similar products... just the color or the size is being changed...

Is there any way that I'll make one deafult page and there the customeres can pick the exact color or size they want, and then they will be moved to the specific product page (the specific color or size).

I'm asking it because we have too many similar products that look exactly the same, and i dont want it to be one big mess...

You can use attributes to select one of a number of color or size options for a product. Look for "attributes" in tutorials/FAQs for complete information.

The attribute selections can each have a picture associated.

If your products really each need their own product page, you can organize them by subcategories.

I'll tell u what i'm thinking...
I have another program that converts me the internet store orders to a quickbook format, and there each product (each color, or size..) has his own id...
I'm putting exactly the same codes as in quickbook and thats why i'm asking if i can make the attributes to lead to another page...
can i do it in other way?? with the colors and the sizes??

There is a mod available in Downloads (Stock by Attribute) that should get you the info you need in this layout.
