Image Bullet Points?

Anyone know if it's possible to have image bullet point for the navMainLinks displayed in the header.

At the moment I have 3 links in my header. They are: 'Login' (or 'Logout'), 'My Account' and 'Shopping Basket'.

I'd really like to assign image bullet points to these, but make each image different. For example, the 'Login' list item would have a padlock image bullet point, while the 'My Account' list item would have an image bullet point of a person.

I've spent hours looking into possibilities on Google and so on, but found very little info so far.

Any ideas if this is possible?

In english.php where the defines for Login is you can call an image in its place and this image will include the text and image you want - same for others

I've already tried a similar method, but my images are not aligned correctly. They appear to be aligned to the top and the text at the bottom.

Do you know of an easy solution?

Create the image to include the text and display only the image

I could do this, but the text needs to be 'dynamic'.

To each his own but I would not think that the navMainLinks would need to be dynamic as they will not change...or be added to as in categories

Fair point, but I wanted to add the customers name up there next to the logout link - just to make things a bit more personal!

Anyway... I guess my new site can live wihtout that for a bit.
