Everything else works except the dropdown.

If it involves the SELECT list form, then like I said before, you must use the function: zen_draw_pull_down_menu. There's an example from tpl_modules_create_account.php file you can use. If you do encounter anything odd like a field that doesn't load correctly (either from the admin equally as the store-front and physically), then I would wonder but since it is just a presentation issue and that you do see the field, this is not a problem from my MOD.

I have installed this module and now I have the above problem in my admin panel. The description of the orders is gone and also in the description of the tables have an error.

Can you assist me with that ??

There is no way to assist for this if no specifications are being mentioned. Exacly 'where' does this problem occurs in the admin ? For now, this problem seem to come from bad incorporation in admin/customers.php file. Althought, this MOD should not affect orders in any ways since it is not related . . .

Update:

Very important fixes were applied today. You may download the package from my site. For those who upgrades, please read the upgrade and changelog text documentation.

There were encountered problems (also reported) regarding the pull-down menus under the admin's customers core page. Even I couldn't find the source of the problem instantly. These issues has been fixed under this release.

Additional note: To those who wonders if it will alter any in the database, fortunitely - it won't. Althought, the bad news, for the first times (until you make the corrections for each of these users from the admin's customers core page), the content might show different results comparing to phpmyadmin from your TABLE_CUSTOMERS table.

Update:

In order to avoid future confrontation with this MOD in the future, I have now updated the admin/includes/languages/<your_language>/extra_definitions/additional_customers_fields.php file's documentation (with the word: update in the guideline) so that everyone won't fall into the same issues again.

Hello All,
I have completely installed the additional_customer_fields MOD, I've gone in Admin>Customers>Add Customer Fields and created a new customer field and enabled it. Now I just don't see the new field on the login/register page. I have just opened the ZEN CART account and everything is pretty much the default values (including template). Can anyone help me on getting this field to show up?

Secondly, once I get this field to show up I want to make it a drop down list with two option (Mel Kimmel and Boyd Thomas). Can anyone help me with this also.

Once you added + activated the field from the admin section, you must manually code the design from your template overrides files by following the example from my package.
