Embeding Javascript

Hello,

I've read a few threads and the wiki page

but I'm a bit confused about how to embed my javascript function in a description. I don't even know if this is possible.
Pasting html code in a description either of a category or product is possible, ok, but how to use my jscript function in a description ?

The article you linked to is useful for pre-loading script functions etc on the desired pages. Once loaded, you can "call" it wherever you need to. Some scripts require no additional calls. Some scripts require that you call a certain function at a certain point on the page, in which case you simply embed the appropriate <script>.....</script> tags where needed.

but how to use my jscript function in a description ?

Within a product description, javascript can be simply embedded using the normal HTML tags for scripting: <script> .... </script>
