I want to turn something off...

I want to turn something off, but I don't know what they're called. Here's my page:

I want to turn off the bars that are directly above the box headers that say "search," "categories," etc.

They're the ones that are the same color as the breadcrumb line.

Can someone tell me how to do this? Or, can I not do it, and I just have to change the background color? If I do that, then the breadcrumb line doesn't line up with the search header.
