    Default colour bars at top and bottom...

    where in the style sheet are the controls for the height of the coloured bars at the top and bottom of my webpages? I've looked, but can't seem to identify where they are,a nd how to change them.

    I'd like to adjust them so that the image I'm using is complete instead of cut in half. It's doubled, which is OK I guess, but the second row is cut in half. I'd like to extend it to be 2 whole rows.

    This has been quite a learning experience, but I'm slowly picking up knowledge by studying the posts of others and with all the wonderful help I've been getting from you guys that I will eventually use to "re-skin" the whole site once I'm more confident and get a better feel for the look and feel that would be more attractive.

    Nice site!

    Adjust the line I've highlighted in red.

    Code:
    #navMainWrapper, #navSuppWrapper, #navCatTabsWrapper {
    	margin: 0em;
    	background-color: #abbbd3;
    	background-image: url(../images/tile_back.gif);
    	padding: 0.5em 0.2em;
    	font-weight: bold;
    	color: #ffffff;
    	height: 1%;
    	}
    Try making it 22px instead of 1% and see if that helps.

    Thanks. 34px did it perfectly. Now just have to decide if I like how it looks.

    Cheers!

    Deciding if you like it or not is the hardest part.

    Did you see my reply to you in this thread?

    I love the Celtic knot background!

    The only suggestion I have is you might want to consider changing the link hover color on the navigation text at the top of the page (Home | login) because it disappears against the graphic. And maybe increase the size of those links a little so they stand out more against the graphic. They get a little lost.

    I love the Celtic font in your header -- I've used a similar one for another site I created. That's a very nice, clean logo and color combo you've used with the background.

    I'm not normally a fan of "busy" background patterns, but the colors and the pattern of yours works.

    Good job!

    Thanks for your kind words madmumbler. I haven't reall made many changes other than that, might make more customization later on to personalize it a bit more, but I want to keep it simple looking. Where do I find the parts to change the text you are referring to? I've been digging around but haven't found it yet?
    Also...if you know ...where are the controls for the same "bars" for the new products and featured products sections that are in the middle of the page? I'd like to adjust the height of those as well. I feel stupid that I can't find them.
