    Ya the Tech guy found the problem and fixed it within like o ten minutes. Ugh I spent the last two days tryin to find out what to do. At least when I posed the question to him, I did sound somewhat educated as to what the problem was. Thanks for helping me out.

    Now on to the next problem.

    I have read posts concerning changing the welcome email. I have looked and found the files that I want ( i did open the developers tool kit and found the part that I want and it gave me the /this/that/everything_else thing to change..but what is the next step?

    When I do the search in the tool kit, along the top of my screen it tells me where it is ( i think) I have tried Cut and pasting that info into my url but that don't work. I can't click on it. So how do i get there?

    Man this stuff is starting to make me seem like a waterhead....de de de

    To get there, you have to actually go back into your cPanel on your host, follow the path, that ZenCart showed you. You can actually edit the file in cPanel, but I wouldn't recommend it. I, myself, have a local server (apache) set up on my pc, along with PHP, MySQL, PHPMyAdmin (all included with Wamp5). I then installed ZenCart on it, done all my editing with DevPHP IDE, on my local site, THEN, and only then, do I upload it to my hosted server with WS-FTP.
    I just can't imagine doing it any other way. If you edit a file on a live server, you're asking for trouble, maybe something you can't recover from, and have to start all over from scratch.
    I'm sure most of the people who use Zencart, or even have a website of ANY kind would agree with me on this one.
    Teach them to shop and they will shop today;
    Teach them to Zen and they will OWN a shop tomorrow!

    Greetings and salutations

    After a recent hiatus and excursion in relocation, I am back.
    I am curious about adding a "live customer support" feature to my site. I have looked around and found a shareware program I like and was wondering how I incorporate it into my shop.
    Would I put it into my cPanel or into Zen cart?
    My cPanel does have "chat" button that I can cut and paste into a site ( html code) and it comes up when i update the site..but when someone clicks on it I get a pop up with an error message.
    Would it be better to go with the shareware or try to figure out my cPanel chat thing?
    Thanks in advance

    K so um anyone got any thoughts on how I can just change my header to my site without having to make a new template?
