Good Morning,
Our site www.thepatchshop.com.au
What I would like to do is to have define_main_page.php show all products in decending added date order, similar to http://www.thepatchshop.com.au/index...e=products_new
That way our returning customers will have the 'new' patches 'in their face'
Words are not important to our sales, images are.
If you can point me in the right direction I will be grateful.

Did you try configuration->Index listing and set Show New Products on Main Page on?

Yes, I have it set to 1, but you have given me another idea, it's a bit crude, but may work, I will report back
