Discount Coupon error shows '£' instead of '£'

As a relatively new Zen Cart user, I have been playing around with Discount Coupons to see how they work. I'm impressed - its a nice powerful function.

But when someone tries to use a coupon when buying less than the minimum amount set on the coupon, the red error across the top of the page says: You must spend at least £ 10.00 to redeem this coupon.

How can I make is say £10.00? (ie with the £ sign instead of £)
