Default Double-Spacing in FF - How can I alter this?

In general my site looks junky in FireFox. OK, I'm learning to live with that. (Especially since almost 80% of my visitors are still arriving via IE)
The main thing that makes it look bad is that everything seems to be double-spaced, whereas in real life (IE) it's not. It creates a ton of dead space. How can I go about altering this if it wasn't intentionally double-sapced to begin with?
To understand what I mean, please visit this page in both IE & FF and look at the nav bar across the top: (Which is just one example of dead space above and below the text.)

    Thanks!!

Page linked not a Zen Cart page???? Nav is predicated by tables definition and little css

In general, never design to IE, but design to the most compliant browser available and then fix the IE "quirks". Doing this the other way around it asking for issues.

This is even though most use IE - this does not make it compliant or the preferred browser to design with.

The page linked is indeed not a Zen Cart page but outside the /shop.

Thanks for the tip on compliancy.

Have you considered using CSS for your layout instead of tables for your main page? Tables are icky and tricky and finicky at best. I know that doesn't really help solve your exact problem, but it might be something to think about in the overall scheme of things.

You are probably right. That homepage and the about us page are all that's left of the original tables-based site in the days before Zen. I should just abandon them all-together.
