    Default Securing with SSL

    Hello All,

I have installed Zen 1.3.7 on a Linux Server. After perusing the answer at https://www.zen-cart.com/tutorials/index.php?article=14

I realized that I do not know which of these file modifications to use. We have a shared Certificate, but I do not know which one of the instructions to follow as there are 3 different variations.

Can anyone direct me to discovering which of these set of instructions I need to follow to secure the shopping cart checkout and the administrative panel. I want to be able to login to the backend of the store under an https URL and of course the customers for the store need to login or checkout under a secure https: URL as well.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    thanks,
    dwight

The first sentence of the link suggests that this is highly dependant upon the server configuration and even more so for a shared cert...

You need to know, from your hosts, what your shared ssl pathway actually is. Without that knowledge there's nothing you can do. All shared ssl pathways are different.
