Zone shipping module Help

We're using both the UPS and Zones module to figure out shipping rates on our site. The only reason we have enabled the Zones module is to handle order requests from Canada for which we have a flat rate.

When customers request shipment to Canada, the only shipping options that display on the web page is the Zones shipping at the set price, and above that is a message that says
"This is currently the only shipping method available to use on this order." which is fine.

However when a customer requests shipment to the US, it will show the UPS options that we want it to show, but underneath it you see an empty box where the Zone module would have been.

Is there a way to prevent that empty box from showing on the website?

Why don't you use Flat Rate flat and set that to Canada ... then it would only show for Canada ... and not other countries?
