I have no clue what to "compare". products fields are the same right?

I tried but in the ZEN cart all I get are the menu items which don't work and this error:

Where can I find more help on the part of the OSC to ZEN instructions related to:

    Step 5 Compare database structures

I have WinMerge but what am I supposed to change? It looks like many hundreds of lines show up between left and right panes. Am I just supposed to convert one side to "equal" the other? Which side?

WinMerge compares files not databases. And since Zen Cart has diverged significantly from osCommerce, trying to apply Zen Cart changes to osCommerce code would be recipe for disaster.

To compare database structures you would need to use a tool like phpMyAdmin to look at the structure of each, but this too will be getting increasingly difficult as Zen Cart outstrips further OSC.

Word to the wise is sufficient. I will have to remain with the new release of oscommerce for this site.

    Thanks.
