Any other ideas on this? Nothing has changed on my server and cURL is installed.

If you are positive that there is nothing wrong with your port communications, both directions, and that cURL is installed properly on your server ... I would try a test install of v1.3.7 in a test subdirectory with a test database and test your account with v1.3.7 AIM and see if things are working ...
If not, there is a server issue ...
If so, then your files in v1.3.5 need to be upgraded ...Linda McGrath
