Adding prices

I'm new to Zen Cart, I have setup a basic configuration, with no urgent problems on the setup-configuration.

I've been adding product, but the product price do not come up in either the preview nor the product display.

As I said above my knowledge is limited, all I can say about my server is that its non-Windows.

Its really strange that this is happening.

What could it be? I have not completely setup it all by myself, my host helped me partly, with the username and passwords etc.

If I go back to edit the product, the price are still there, in that blue-ish box.

So I take its not a database problem, but a problem with the admin setup?

Unfortunately I won't be much help with telling you sertain suff, but I'll try.

It currently running on English and $'s as default, removed the other units.

It's not possible to tell from the above what is happening. Do you have a URL for your site? What is your default currency?

I have just changd the sign from $ to R, nothing else, but it did exactly he same while showing $.

If you go into Admin > Catalog > Categories/Products does it show a price for the product on the listing page for the category that it is in?

If you edit the product does it show a price?

If you look directly into the database using a tool such as phpMyAdmin, is there a price for the product?

When you entered the price, did you enter a gross price, a net price or both?

Did you accidentally tick the product is free option?
