Confirmed this works on 1.3.8a ... Thank you for all the hard work a_berezin!
I uploaded some slight aesthetic changes to the sql files and readme.txt. The install.sql change moves this contribs configuration from My Store to Minimum Values in the Admin panel as well as sets a default minimum of 10 and added that information to the readme.txt
I also included an additional sql file (install_config_relocate) for those that may already have this contrib installed and would like to move it to Minimum Values instead of My Store WITHOUT losing any of their information.
A_berezin's coding is still in place, so it's still his contrib. At time of this post my additions hadn't yet been posted by the Zen Download mods but hopefully will appear soon.

I have installed this module on our website ver 1.3.7, i have a minimum value of £5.00, but i am still able to check out, any ideas?

I am having the exact same issues! I have a minimum of $100 and it still lets be checkout with less.
Also is there a way it could be limited to a type of product such as general products? We have document products as a type and we don't really care if they don't meet the min. with this product type just the general product type. Any ideas?
Two questions:
1. What do we enter as a setting? Is it by dollar amount?
2. Is there any way to make this work by attributes?
FYI, If you are in the USA and accept VISA, having a minimum purchase could get you in trouble with VISA. I'll shutup now.
Really? Is that based on dollar amount, you mean?
My store is selling cookies by (attribute) 1/2 dozen or 1 dozen per flavor. Because of the labor involved baking-wise, my client has a minimum of 1 dozen per order (imagine making just 1/2 dozen cookies?!)
You can design your product and packaging anyway you want. Package it anyway you want. If you offer a single cookie you can charge a billion dollars for it. If you have a 6 cookie package for sale, you must allow the CC customer to purchase the item. You can price the first 6 pack high, and discount the rest.
But if you install a minimum or maximum dollar amount you would be in violation of their rules (USA).

I am also having the same issue as above with the minimum order still allowing me to checkout. Any ideas yet?
