Unique SKUs for each product variation

Is it possible to have a unique SKU for each product variant? Are there any good modules that accomplish this? Thanks!

Thank you for the very prompt response! I have a few follow up questions:

1. Does this work with the latest ZC version? The page says v1.3.0.1, and v1.3.0.2, but we are at v1.3.7 already.
2. Does it have space to key-in a unique SKU identifier for each variant? Need this to be able to sync offline store quantities with online store.

You can use the model# for this

But model can only be assigned at the product level, not at variant level. I need to identify each variant somehow.

Yep: stock_by_attributes_v4_4

When I go to "Products with Attributes Stock", it allows me to edit quantity only, the "model" always stays generic. I want something like:

• Shirt: XL + Green -- Model: SHIRT001
• Shirt: XL + Red -- Model: SHIRT002
• Shirt M + Yellow -- Model: SHIRT003

etc...
