    Default Favicon in Root Directory

    Im trying to add a favicon, and in FAQ it says to add the file to the root directory.

    A) How do I add a file to this directory?

    B) What file do I add to it. I assume it is the favicon logo I have saved in images.

    Thanks

    You would just ftp the image to your root directory for your server. depending on what your using it might look like public_html/ or www/ etc. As long as the file name is favicon.ico it should work

    I use FileZilla to move my things around through FTP. I've just recently added a favicon to our site, and it was a very quick and easy process... as already stated, just open up your FTP and drop it into the Public_html folder.

    It may take a few reloads, but it should, eventually, show an icon at the bookmarks and also in the address bar.

    Ahh, I see what you're saying. Hrm, I would imagine you could put this in the header file . . . I mean I didn't do the html and mine works fine;

    it's an unfinished site but I get the icon now in my address bar. I think the html might be for adding it to favorites or something. Someone smarter than I will have to validate that one.

    wrapper

    The code already exists in Zen Cart so you do not need to add it.
