How to delete link from Site Map

Newbie here. Finished installing ZC and now starting customization.
I turned off the More Information sidebox from the Admin, however links to those pages are still showing in the Side Map.
Unable to delete those pages from the Define Pages Editor.
Tried deleting them directly but the link is always there.
Now I get an error when clicking on the link, which is still showing.

Did you try turning them off in Configuration --> Define Page Status? That should remove them from the Site Map.

Yes! That did the trick.
I was trying Tools --> Define Pages Editor.

Thanks for the answer, it almost worked.

Weirdness. the site is a catalogue only so I turned shipping off by setting the value to 3...no worries.

I turned discount coupons off by setting to 3 as well, but it still appears in site map. Any suggestions?

Also there is no admin feature to turn off "newsletter unsubscribe" by the look of it. I could hard code it out, but that seems like overkill.

As an aside, when I first installed ZC I dug through the code and hid all sorts of things...a couple of days later I discovered how powerful the admin interface is so went back unhid everything (fortunately I had tagged edits) and did it properly...sigh...
