    Default Product Option Horizontol Alignment

I have trying to get my product options placed in horizontal alignment ("Color" on the left and "Size" on the right) but am having no luck. I have been playing with my tpl_modules_attributes.php, tpl_product_info display.php and stylesheet.css and this is the best I have so far. I cannot seem to separate them. www.publicmyth.com/shop

You have several <br class="clearBoth"> after attribute elements, one of which is forcing the size input to be below the bottom of the image. Removing that (in tpl_product_info display.php) will allow it to move up, but there is not enough space for them all to fit on one line, at least in a 1024x768 monitor. You need to accept the fact that they will wrap in all but very wide monitors.

    1)
You can set where the swatches show up from within the Admin. (above, below, by the side, etc). Do this from the following

Admin > Catalog > Option Name Manager

Once there click on the "Edit" button to the right of the attribute you want to set location for. Then find the section that starts:

"NOTE: Rows, Display Size and Max Length are for Text Attributes Only:"

You'll see boxes and some "instructions" there how you can set the location of where the colors appear (the swatches).

    2)
My suggestion for the two attributes being side by side would be to alter the PHP code for "attributes" and put them into to side by side <DIV> tags. Easier said that done, but it is worth a shot.

I went into the option name manager and found "Image Styles:" but I am not sure where to be these numbers?

If you are unsure, the best thing to do is test each number and then settle on the one you decide works for you.

So, set the number, save the changes, view your site. Do you like the way it looks? If not, go back and repeat the process with a different number. If so, you're ready to go.

The numbers you have to choose from are found directly under the boxes I mentioned. They look like this:

    Image Styles:
    0= Images Below Option Names
1= Element, Image and Option Value
2= Element, Image and Option Name Below
3= Option Name Below Element and Image
4= Element Below Image and Option Name
5= Element Above Image and Option Name

Take those numbers and insert into the section directly above it that looks like this:

I tried this but this only works for the Radio Buttons and Checkboxs' and not the dropdown option that I am using.

You should be able to get the images lined up where you want (whether it is a drop down or not) from within the Admin. I have done it on a number of sites.

If you are trying to get the two "drop downs" side by side, that requires php coding to alter the attributes module.

I have tried to alter the attributes module but I cannot seem to get the dropboxes below the option images. Do you know what part of the code I have to edit to get this?

To get the drop boxes below the images, you shouldn't have to alter any code. That is done from within the Admin.

To get the two "drop downs" side by side, you would have to alter a little bit of code (in the way they are structured).
