Missing File: store_setup.php

Hello Zen Masters,
Can anyone please explain this error message. I have searched google, the forums, and the knowledge base and it doesn't seem to be anywhere.

Here's the message I got on the page during installation just after entering the database information:

Try reloading the files it sounds like you have bad or missing or otherwise corrupted files on the server ...

OK. Does that mean I should re-upload all of the files from the original zip or just certain directories. Are you suggesting a full re-install? If I reloaded all files wouldn't that overwrite the settings in configure.php?

New clue:

I just hardcoded the contents of store_setup.php into the /zc_install/index.html and it worked... i was able to configure store name et al. and then chose to go to the admin page... i then got the following error:

You have a bad upload of files ...

1 Reload the files

2 Might look at what you are using to FTP the files to your site ... some programs are more equal than others ...
