Two questions: Categories and EZPages

Question ONE:
I have a large number of products from a number of manufacturers. The manufacturer's names are used as sub-categories, but when the user clicks on the category heading to reveal the list of subcategories there is a HUGE array of thumbnails, which are fairly slow to load. I want to restrict this array to only a few, or if that isn't practicable, I could live with replacing this array with a list of current 'specials' or some such. Can anyone please give me guidance on how I might do this?

Question TWO:
I cannot get internal link and anchors to work in EZPages - clicking on the links just gets one back to the Welcome page. I have tested the code in Adobe GoLive and it works, and I have used FCK Editor to create and format the links and anchors, but no success. Guidance would be really, really appreciated!!

Are the images in a box such as 'New Products for May' or something to that effect?

If you click on the the second category RHT (Reinforced Heel and Toe) you will see the array of images.

As for the second question, you can visit the FAQ page under 'Other Links' to see the behaviour of the links.

Ok, about the images, no answer yet . . . but your anchor issue

You start on this page:

http://www.hohose.exphoster.com/cata...id=2&chapter=0

you're calling your anchor like so:

a href="#payFAQ"

and when clicked you get this in your URL

http://www.hohose.exphoster.com/catalog/#payFAQ

Which is not what you wanted at all . . . as you wanted:

http://www.hohose.exphoster.com/cata...apter=0#payFAQ

Your fix is to change your tag to:

<a href="index.php?main_page=page&id=2&chapter=0#payFAQ" . . . .
