Sort by Size

I have a store that I am setting up for a company that sells children's' clothing. i have redone the code behind the "manufactures" box and that is now "collections". Then I have my categories, of course. Now I need people to be able to search for children's clothing by size.

I have looked through the forums and I have found no real answer. Is there a way to set it up soe users can search by 1 attribute.....size?

Ajeh has said in a recent post that searching by an attribute would be some tricky coding. If she thinks it's an involved project, I'd either abandon the thought or put on your advanced coder's hat and lay in a good supply of midnight oil.
