Hi,
I'm Not to sure, however I hope this is the right place for this question.
I was wondering if there was anyway for a guest to right a review without having an account?
Thanks in advance

If you go to Admin > Configuration > Email Options > Allow Guest To Tell A Friend and set the option to True it will do what you ask...
BUT WAIT...
Refer to Tutorials and FAQs - How can I protect my site from malicious attacks https://www.zen-cart.com/tutorials/index.php?article=73 item number 8.
HOWEVER; it is suggested you set it to FALSE - otherwise scammers can create a mess for you by using it.

how can someone review your products when they have not purchased them,
since this requires an account
Zen cart PCI compliant Hosting
Guess I do not understand the question... I assumed 'right' meant 'write'...
Having said that, could he not make it a showcase and allow the customer to view and then to review - what am I missing in this equation?
Perhaps he meant 'review' the site as in 'view' without signing in? HALP!

I may be slow, but at least I am at the back of the line
It finally dawned on me what you were telling me - am I slow or what!
Guess it's like test driving a car... you can't test drive it unless you go to the dealer and he/she 'gives' you the keys... wow - an enlightened user, me... unless the dealer provides you a 'virtual car' in some sort of booth or something...
Anyway, how about if Gebo uses an email link and ask folks to provide an 'appraisal' of what they have seen on the site. I am doing that during the testing of my client's site... under 'Information', the email 'Contacts' link has steps/directions on what they (folks testing) the site should look for. And, what is Gebo really asking for in a review - what is the product? etc.
I apologize for wasting your time - guess I will go back to my nap.

Sorry about that spelling error, my mistake. I'm more awake this time so lets see if i can better explain my question. My question was, actually the same as one I found on another thread http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showthread.php?t=62714, however it wasn't quite the help I was hoping for. I was wondering if the answer to that thread was the only way that this could be achieved, or if there is an easier way to allow a guest to write a review on a product. Hope that better explains my question. Also thanks jund for trying to figure out my question to help me I appreciate it
. Also that email link stuff you were talking about sounds interesting. How does that work? I'm not sure I understand it. Looks like I might be slow as well
.
Thanks in advance
