Default default is GBP but keeps coming up in USD!!!

i have just been configuring my site settings and have changed my default currency to GBP but in the catalogue it still says USD unless you change in the drop down menu.

tried deleting every currency except GBP and then it just came up with 0 no currency sign.

found the other thread on here about the exact same problem but with australian dollar and did exactly as it said and still in USD

    help please???

Did you set that in your main language file?

    In the main language file:
    /includes/languages/english.php

You should copy this to your templates and overrides directory, if you haven't already:
    /includes/languages/your_template_dir/english.php

And there is a setting for the currency:
    PHP Code:
// if USE_DEFAULT_LANGUAGE_CURRENCY is true, use the following currency, instead of the applications default currency (used when changing language)

    define('LANGUAGE_CURRENCY''USD');

    Hi Linda

I'm having the same problem, i have done what you said but i cannot copy the file as you suggested because there is no template folder in languages.

Your custom template directory appears to be /ZC03C00177

    For the main language file:
    /includes/languages/english.php

    You would make a copy:
    /includes/languages/ZC03C00177/english.php

Then this is the file you would customize ...
