HELP - Changing Distance Between Items

Hi,

I've installed a template on www.sonicksolaire.co.uk, how do I increase the vertical distance between the featured items on the homepage? As you can see, the images overlap eachother and it looks a bit cramped.

One way is to locate the class in the stylesheet which encompasses the image and add some padding or a margin.

I had a brief look, but the combination of Frames being used on the page and the template is extensively modified with a considerable number of new classes, it was just too time-consuming for me.

To be honest, I think this is a flaw in the template design, and assuming you've paid for it, you should contact the provider to fix it.

where would I find the stylesheet and what would i need to edit?

Im confused cos on the preview before i bought it it was perfect, but i cant seem to emulate it. and their technical support is terrible.

Is there anything i can do in the admin panel?

Nothing you can do in the admin panel...although if you resize those images (admin > configuration > images ... the settings are in there) that may get you out of this simply - if you can accept smaller images.

The stylesheet(s) SHOULD be in includes/templates/NAME_OF_YOUR_TEMPLATE/css/

You then have to locate the class which applies to the element you need to adjust.

One way to determine the element is to view the page in your browser and then use the View Source option where you can identify the section you need (again, the use of frames makes this more difficult than necessary)

Another is to download Firefox along with its Web Developer Toolkit and an addon called Firebug.

I'm afraid I don't have the time to go into detail on the "how".

I will certainley try reducing the image size, but I dont know if this will put the neat spaces inbetween the items and the lines seperating them like the live demo on the template shows?
