overrides not working

Hello,
I created the folder includes/templates/basic. I changed it in admin to use that template. The css is working properly. Now i am trying to edit the meta_tags.php file to change the title in the browser. I copied the file includes/languages/english/meta_tags.php to includes/languages/basic. I made the change and it is not sticking. Am I missing a step here?

nevermind. it's written wrong in this document: https://www.zen-cart.com/tutorials/index.php?article=36

should be copied to /includes/languages/english/basic
