Define pages editor is playing silly buggers.

Hello! I'm revisiting an old 1.2.7 cart I have running to update a couple of pages of content throught the define pages editor. I posted my updated html into the box and saved but some of the layout got messed up slightly. When I went back to check what was going on, it seems there are extra tags there that I didn't put in... a few <tbody> tags, I think a <tr> or two aswel. I'm not sure if this is a glitch or if it's a feature I don't know whow to use properly, but either way it seems to be the reason for my new layout problems as i have not changed anything else. Any thoughts on how to stop it doing this or how to handle it properly? Thanks in advance.

Hmm. After a bit of experimenting I've broken a second page and caused the same problem. I think what I did was open up the page to edit and clicked save whilst in the html view without editing anything. From there it seems to have added the extra tags. Hope that helps.

Try making your changes without using the HTML editor.

Excellent. I had to turn of html area in My Store and although it still came up on the actual define page I chose 'none' and that did the trick. Weird.
