Default Subdomain, SSL Issue- Host not much help. :(

    Hi there folks.

First off, this is my very first time with SSL, so be gentle and try to explain if you can, as I would love to understand and learn.

    A big thanks in advance.

    * Firstly, my client attempted to purchase herself a certificate without quite understanding the process. I came into things in the middle. She bought it from http://www.############################.com . She purchased it for the subdomain the store is located on- http://shop.samsaraholisticspa.com .

    * Secondly, we're hosted on Host 99 (http://www.host-99.com), a ZenCart certified provider. So far, they seem a bit baffled, though attempting to be helpful. They installed our certificate for us, and got us a dedicated IP address. We did NOT know we needed the dedicated IP before we purchased the certificate, so that IP had nothing to do with the certificate process, so far as I know.

Finally, we come to the issue I'm having.

When I go to load the store at https://shop.samsaraholisticspa.com, I come up to the index.html file in my MAIN directory- samsaraholisticspa.com . The index.php file in the "shop" subdirectory doesn't load, or even try to load, so far as I can tell.

If I visit http://shop.samsaraholisticspa.com, the store loads up just fine, and isn't sidetracked to the main index.

I have set the configure.php files. I've tried both https://shop.samsaraholisticspa.com and https://www.samsaraholisticspa.com/shop . Neither has worked.

I've taken the Flash out of my store header, and also made sure my images are not direct linked.

There is an "ssl" directory in my root directory, which contains nothing but the certificate, key, and request.

There is no seperate HTTPS directory, I checked.

Since Host 99 Installed it for me, I tried with them first- they claim that it all checks out from their end, they have no idea what might be causing the issue, and say that I need to ask you folks here.

I've been attempting research on the forums, but it seems that there are many solutions which depend on many technical facts I don't quite understand.

Any rate, any help would be grand- I've only got 5 days left where I can get a free reissue for this certificate if I need to.

Let me know if you have any further questions/details needed.

Thanks in advance, you guys are always super helpful.

you need to go into the control panel ans set up the sub domain for store.

then make sure that your configure.php settings are correct

I just wanted to let everyone know that Host99 jumped back in on this and did a great job helping me out. It appears to be a conflict of some sort with subdomains and the SSL certificate.

We're reissuing it for the main domain, and we'll go from there. :)
