deleting link/changing link names

I want to remove some of the links in the "information" layout box on the left and either add or change the name of one of them as well. the only way i can figure to remove those links is to just turn off the layout box, but i don't want to go that far. any help would be greatly appreciated.

i definitely want to get rid of "gift certificate faq". if i could find out how to remove that i can remove the other ones. i also want to add a general info link in that box.

The Gift Certificate is controlled by the status of if it is installed or not in the Order Totals ...

To turn it off when Gift Certificates are installed you will need to customize the sidebox:

  // only show GV FAQ when installed
  if (MODULE_ORDER_TOTAL_GV_STATUS == 'true') {
    $information[] = '<a href="' . zen_href_link(FILENAME_GV_FAQ) . '">' . BOX_INFORMATION_GV . '</a>';
  } 

and comment out the code:

  // only show GV FAQ when installed
  if (MODULE_ORDER_TOTAL_GV_STATUS == 'true') {
//    $information[] = '<a href="' . zen_href_link(FILENAME_GV_FAQ) . '">' . BOX_INFORMATION_GV . '</a>';

I'm unsure where to find the code you've posted.

One method to find something you cannot locate is to use the Tools ... Developers Tool kit and enter any text or code that you see ...

This will locate for you the file(s) that contain the code ...

Example, a search on:
// only show GV FAQ when installed

would show:

/shipping/includes/modules/sideboxes/information.php

Someone posted a great way to get rid of the Gift Cert FAQ from the side box:

Admin->Configuration->Email Options-> newsletter subscribe link

Admin->Modules->Order Total-> and uninstall Discount Coupons and Gift Certificates

And it worked really well.

Ajeh, I must be not understanding the Dev Tools in ZC properly because every time I use them it comes up with an error message and can't find anything!
