Do you have Image Handler installed? If so, is bmz_cache set to 777?

I don't think I installed image handler module. I can't seem to change the permission of the image folder. Is that normal? If not, why?

Nope. Not normal. Do you have the "Hot Link" protection turned on? If, so, try turning that off.

Looks like you got it, though. All your images are back.

Hi,
I managed to change the file permission using the FTP manager. Isn't it strange that I can't do it in CPanel? Should I contact my hosting company?

Yes, I would. You should be able to change permissions on any file or folder you want, or need to. If they've got that blocked, somehow, then I would throw a fit on 'em!
