I have a cart already up and running, but would like to add some products which will be hire only. I note I can make my site show as "showcase" which is good in the way that the add to cart button disappears, but I would like your ideas on......

Should I have a 2nd identical zencart set up as show case, in a subdomain? Eg. client goes to hire category on main site, and link takes them to identical looking site with showcase only...

Is there a way to make a new product show without an Add to cart button so that I could make it "Email to book a hire" or some such instead of the 2nd cart...

Would love your thoughts, as I'm only a little skilled in zen-cart, and I'm sure there's a great solution.
