royal Mail international rates

I've just started with my new website and I'm beginning to sort out the shipping rates by using the royal mail download files.
Is there a way I can check that the rates work. (I can do it with UK charges by "buying" my own stuff).

Sorry I forgot to explain that I'm trying to check the overseas rates.

change your address to a different country from your account settings on the customer side.

then you can test the rates work correctly
