SSL Wont Work

Hope someone can help here!

I just installed Zencart (new to this)

It is up and running but I won't go live till I iron out the bugs.

My problem is : I WANT SSL "ENABLED"

I KNOW HOW TO TURN IT OFF by changing both the config files to (false). This is no drama.

However when it is enabled I cannot login or view the cart and get the usual 404 error:

Object not found!
The requested URL was not found on this server. The link on the referring page seems to be wrong or outdated. Please inform the author of that page about the error.

So how do I set up the Admin and shopping cart to be secure.

YES it does work fine with SSL turned off but I don't want to leave it that way.

Is it as simple as maybe moving files (which ones I am not sure)to the https dir - from http.

O.k. crash, the first thing is......do you have an SSL certificate installed on your server? If not, then you CANNOT get SSL to work......some things you HAVE to pay for.

I am sure I do, I did pay for it about 12 months ago. I will check with my Host and let you know.
