Error encountered while writing /includes/configure.php

hi,
when i tried to install this great cart i stock on database setup.
its show again and again the following:
Error encountered while writing /includes/configure.php

i really dont know what to do. i searched alot on the forum and read all i cant find the problem.

basically, i tried to change permission but i cant do it. according to my web host, i cant change permission cause i'm on windows server and i need to swap to linux.
however, i dont want to swap and i want to install it on windows server.

someone can help?
i tried all, (physical path etc)

You need to be able to write to the file.
That means you need to be able to change permissions on the file to make it writable.
Your host should be able to do that for you if they can't give you a control panel in which to do it yourself.

You don't *have to* switch to Linux. Zen Cart *will* work on Windows, but you will run into these challenges related to file/folder permissions if you stay on Windows.
