Help!! I inadvertently de-activated a current coupon and am now unable to re-activate it. Does anybody know how to reactivate the coupon? I really need it for customers who might want to apply the coupon?

Have you deleted it?
Do you still have the code number?

Initially, I had thought I had deleted it so that I could redo it correctly. But, I then discovered it was listed as an "inactive coupon."
Yes, I do still have the code number and even tried a test transaction on my website to see if the coupon was usable. The response was "invalid coupon." Do you have any suggestions?
Oh, yea....I see, now.....I just re-enacted this event, and you're right.....there's just no way, is there?

This could be done manually ...
For account tracking this is made not to allow re-activation once deleted ...
However, if you have a valid reason for this, you can re-activate the Discount Coupon manually by going into phpMyAdmin and editing the coupons table and changing on the record for this coupon_code the field coupon_active and set to Y ...
NOTE: be very careful that you are activating the correct Discount Coupon ...

Ahh....once again, Linda to the rescue! Now, I see that my trip to the bug report section, making a bug report, and making the trip all the way back here to report the bug report report, was tiring on the fingers, and brain, just to find out that there's no bug to catch????.....and I already had all my bug killing gear out.....Damn!
Should've known that there was a reason behind this. Could get a person in trouble, huh?

That is the problem with Discount Coupons and Gift Certificates ... you really want the paper trail ...
However, there are times when you just gotta break the rules with a proper explination ...
Hopefully we will be adding things like this in a future release to allow more management of the Discount Coupons and Gift Certificates for those odd times when you just gotta do what you gotta do ...![]()

I'd like to try a manual reactivation suggested by Ajeh.
Where is the phpMyAdmin located at? I'm having trouble finding that link.
Thanks!
