    Default [Done v1.3.8] dir handles not closed, causes memory leak and won't load stylesheet

    My zen store typically just smokes right along, no problems...I noticed things were a little slow this afternoon, took a look at the store (I typically live in the admin, which BTW is fine), and CRAP....it is as if my templates are gone.

    Flipped from my custom template to the classic default, same deal....been screwing around for a couple hours, just placed a call to my hosting company to see if they made some apache or php changes....

    site is at http://www.jerkynet.com/store

    All the flat sites on this host are fine, there are also some php sites (invision power board msg board) php/mysql driven sites, they are fine, my admin looks like it always does....

    Anybody know what would cause this?

    log in via FTP and see if your template is in the following directory:

    store/includes/templates

    If you see the folder.. go in it. If you see files.. check the "css" folder.. see if theres anything in there. If not.. load the backup you've got and it should fix it

    that was my first thought...css is there...as well in the default template dir, flipping to the default has the same look.

    It really does feel like the css is missing, should be easy....but.....?

    check the permissions on those folders. if your host has changed something (such as put in PHP suEXEC support).. you will need to change permissions around. other than that, nothing comes to mind.. sorry

    Just wanted to be sure your using 1.3.7. I found a note on another server company that actually downgraded back to php 4 to give their customers tie to upgrade all their scripts.

    http://www.dreamhoststatus.com/2007/...uled-for-0219/

    They just told their customers to upgrade to 1.3.7.

    Also I understand that php5 dosn't use the globals on or off setting. I'm not sure how it works around it.

    Hi guys....

    Still hosed....anybody have some good suggestions for hosting company....these guys are history early next week!

    Problem seems to have been born during / after them upgrading php to v5.2.1 The odd thing is the build date shows this happened 16:00 on 3/15....

    The no css issue here started today 3/17 ~15:00 PT

    Need to figure this mess out, is there anything that I can send from the php server report that would tell us what this idiot has turned off?

    OK....so eyeballs laying on my cheek....still no stylesheet loading....check me on this (a bit tired over here) after pounding the no-support desk at the hosting company, I get this response....
    ==========
    I looked at the Zen-Cart demo, and immediately under the base href line they have:
    <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="includes/templates/ZCgreen/css/stylesheet.css" />
    <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="includes/templates/ZCgreen/css/stylesheet_labels.css" />
    <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="includes/templates/ZCgreen/css/stylesheet_messagestack.css" />
    <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="includes/templates/ZCgreen/css/stylesheet_showcase.css" />
    None of these links to the CSS sheets exist in your templates, which is why the CSS isn't loading.

    ================
    My take is "duhhhh", we aren't loading due to some php change on thier end? or rights issues....OR is he on to something?

    Any help appreciated!

    History:
    Well working zen 1.3.7 site
    No changes made to site, admin, nuttin for a week or better
    Yesterday 15:00 PDT, site stop loading css
    Investigation with the host find they upgraded to php5 but that was 2 days prior

    So, we are not asking to load CSS....what causes this?

    I have three zen 1.37 sites all went css stupid at the same time

    Help?!!?

    IF these files were not found in your custom template they would revert back and be called from the template_default,

    if you had 3 sites flake out at the same time it is most definitly a server issue,
